Dr. Arvind Lal, 71, is the executive chairman of Dr Lal PathLabs, the man who has revolutionized diagnostics and healthcare testing in India since he took over the reins of Dr. Lal PathLabs at the age of 28, after the sudden demise of his father and founder of Dr. Lal PathLabs. An alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical college where he earned his postgraduation in pathology, Dr. Lal is credited for introducing the maximum number of new tests, instruments, and Information and Communications Technology systems in the pathology industry in India. His commendable contribution in uplifting the country’s pathology industry earned him the highest civilian award, Padma Shri in 2009.
Dr. Lal was also made an Honorary Brigadier in the Armed Forces Medical Services by the President of India in
